“Eastern Kentucky, Tennessee Martin, Louisiana-Lafayette, South Carolina State, and Coppin State have offered,” said 22 Feet Academy Founder Mike Rawson.
Miller is “visiting Louisiana-Lafayette next week,” said Coach Rawson.
The visit will be during the week and Miller expects to make more than one official visit. Still, the first impressions are always most powerful. ULL has signed Herman Williams (FL) to their 2016 class already. Small forward Roydell Brown is a verbal commitment.
Roydell is an explosive wing with great physicality. He is not an accomplished shooter from the outside, but will bring rebounding at both ends. He can play above the rim at 6-foot-5. Williams had high major offers (Mississippi State, Memphis, Murray State), but interest tapered off last summer.
Eventually he selected ULL and became the face of the 2016 class. If they sign Brown and Miller the Ragin’ Cajuns would easily vault them to second best recruiting class in the Sun Belt behind Georgia State.
Miller’s recruitment really reflects favorably on what 22 Feet Academy are trying to do, as he became a surefire D1 player under their tutelage.
