Name School Projection
1. Marcus Dickinson Norman North D1 MM
Dickinson has received interest from several Division I programs. He is still waiting for the perfect fit to offer him. Dickinson plays very tough defense, runs the offense smoothly, and can score the basketball. His best attribute is his ability to be the floor general and get his teammates in rhythm. Dickinson has had a nice start to his senior year playing in the backcourt with Trae Young.
2. Elyjah Clark Deer Creek D1 LM/D2
Clark landed his first Division I offer this summer from Mercer following great performances in St. Louis. However, Mercer filled there voids at guard in the early signing period. Clark’s recruitment is wide open. He has many Division II offers on the table, but is still searching for a Division I offer. Clark is a combo guard that can handle the rock and run the Point, but is best at facilitating, and scoring the basketball. He has Division I talent without a doubt.
3. Micah Speight Putnam City North D1 LM/D2
Speight could easily be number two on this list with his star studded perfromances this season. He is slightly undersized at 5’10” but plays as hard as you will see a player play night in and night out. Simply said, Speight is an elite scorer with deep range from behind the arc. Division II schools are courting Speight, but he is still holding out hope a low Division I will come along.
4. Marquis Johnson Putnam City West D2/JUCO
Johnson has been the key to the Patriots engine this season at the Point. He can do a little bit of everything with the ball in his hands. Johnson took off the summer due to a knee injury, which really hurt his recruitment. He may try to go the JUCO route if he is set on Division I. JUCO would give him a chance to prove himself to colleges. However, many Division II programs would love to have the talents of Johnson at the Point. He is a big time prospect that plays with a huge chip on his shoulder. It will be interesting to see what program lands Johnson. He has had a great career at Putnam City West.
5. Kinzer Lambert Owasso D2/JUCO
Lambert has had a nice start to his senior season in the post Shake Milton era at Owasso. Last year Milton was the Rams primary ball handler putting Lambert out on the wing. This season Lambert has thrived with the rock in his hands. He is great at getting to the rim and making plays happen. Lambert will surprise you with his athleticism. Without a doubt, Lambert could be a 2 guard at the next level, but he could very well be a nice fit at the Point. Several Division II schools have showed interest, but Lambert still remains without an offer. Lambert is simply one of those players that is a “Winner.”
6. Tyler Williams Edmond Santa Fe D2/JUCO
Williams has had quite the career at Edmond Santa Fe. Last season Williams was a lockdown defender for Edmond Santa Fe and scored when needed. This year Williams has been handed the keys to the Wolves whip. Not only is Williams the Wolves primary ball handler, but he is a leader on the floor. He isn’t super fast, but plays so smooth on the floor. Division II schools have expressed interest in Williams, but they have yet to offer.
7. Parker Jennings Bixby D2
Jennings plays on a high school team that has struggled since they lost star Power Forward Mitchell Solomon, but that isn’t a reason to overlook them. Jennings stands at 5’10” and is a knock down shooter from behind the arc. He plays unselfish and does what ever he can to give his team a chance to win. On top of his talents on the floor Jennings is a gem in the classroom. He holds a 27 on his ACT and has a 3.3 GPA. NSU, UCO, USAO, RSU, OCU, and UFAS have all expressed interest in Jennings. He currently holds offers from UCO and USAO.
8. Richard Anderson Midwest City D2/JUCO
Anderson is a very young combo guard. He started school a tad early, which has hurt him in some areas physically. However, Anderson is a hidden gem that could mature into one of the better guards on this list in a couple of years. Right now we have him as a Division II prospect. He has received interest from several Division II schools, but has zero offers on the table at this time. NAIA schools in the region would be wise to give Anderson a hard look. He is a scorer that can create offense with the rock in his hands. He is a two way player and plays very hard on both ends of the floor.
9. KeJuan Frazier Mustang NAIA/JUCO
Frazier had a great summer with the Oklahoma Servants leading them in scoring and assists. This season at Mustang Frazier has had a solid start to his senior year. He isn’t the biggest or quickest, but does several things that will catch your eye. Frazier has big time range from the outside, but his best attribute is his excellent vision. He is possibly the most unselfish basketball player in Oklahoma. If Mustang has an open player, Frazier is going to get the ball to them. Right now we have Frazier as an NAIA/JUCO prospect, but it would not surprise us to see him go Division II.
10. Garrett Pearson Harrah NAIA
Pearson is one of the most unknown players in the state at Harrah. But it is time for his name to be known after the strong start he has had this year. At Harrah Pearson knows he is the third option behind the Manek brothers, but he effects the game in so many different ways. He gets the ball in the hands of his playmakers in good spots at the Point. When his number is called Pearson is a great jump shooter from the outside. He is great on and off the court and will make a nice addition to a college program next year.
