Mustang has had great success over the past three seasons under Head Coach Terry Long. The system Long runs needs a floor general the the Point. This season Kejuan Frazier has stepped into the role as the Broncos primary ball handler.
Frazier played decent minutes as the back up Point Guard a year ago for Mustang, but this year he has taken his game to another level.
It started this summer with Frazier playing with the Oklahoma Servants grassroots program. He thrived on the court leading the Servants on offense. Over the summer Frazier averaged 21 points and 8 assists per game.
This year Frazier has made his mark at Mustang running the offense very efficiently at the Point. The biggest intangibles Frazier brings to the floor is his vision, tough defense, and will to win.
Frazier isn’t asked to score the basketball at Mustang, but he showed this summer that when needed he can fill it up. This past week Mustang traveled to Myrtle Beach, Frazier tore it up.
Division II schools have showed interest in Frazier, but many of the schools have fell off after the summer. Prep Hoops Oklahoma project Frazier as a D2, NAIA, or JUCO prospect with his ability to run the offense at the Point, score, and defend at a high level.
