PHK’s 98th-ranked 2017, the 6-foot junior played his 16U grassroots season with Kentucky Hoopsters, and has been able to pick up a little bit of out-of-state interest since.
“I’ve been in contact with some Division III colleges, nothing much right now. I’ve talked to Albion in Michigan, they’ve contacted me and told me if I ever wanted to visit let him know. I’ve heard from McCallister in Minnesota also, and those are basically the two I’ve talked to,” said Noble, who says his recruitment process is of little concern to him right now.
“Honestly, I’m just a junior right now and I have time for all of that to progress. I’m just worried about basketball right now, and improving my game, and hopefully just playing my game helps me get noticed. I’m not worried about the school I’ll go to or anything like that just yet.”
Noble went on to define his playing style and his strengths to PHK.
“My best strength is just being able to get to the rim, and pushing the ball in transition and just finding the open man, also ball-handling I feel like is one of my strong suits,” he said.
“I’m just working on everything right now; my weak-hand, my defense, my ability to communicate on the floor, overall just my whole game really.”
As the starting point at Rockcastle County, Noble says his role is to be a leader, and to be a more productive scorer than last season.
“I’m the leader of the team as a junior, I took the leadership role last year. And I’ve become more of a scorer than I’ve been in year’s past,” said Noble.
“I’m a hustler, I dive for loose balls and take charges. I’m a heady defender, and I just do what it takes to win.”
