Edmond Memorial took the lead late behind Kristian Doolittle, but Tre Evans sunk a jumper with 6.2 seconds remaining to give Edmond North the 63-62 victory. Some have questioned how good is Edmond North? So far the Huskies have answered with two wins. Edmond North is the Real Deal in Class 6A.
Owasso took down Union 67-58 at the UMAC behind a complete team effort. The Rams made a statement, watch out Class 6A.
Mustang had not trouble with Edmond Santa Fe in a rematch of the 6A Title game from a year ago. The Broncos defeated Edmond Santa Fe 92-81. Jakolby Long posted a double-double scoring 30 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. 2016 Guard Curtis Haywood posted 18 points, 17 rebounds, 7 assists, and 4 blocks in the win. Mustang looks like they are going to repeat with ease in Class 6A.
Norman North struggles to beat Westmoore on the road. The Timberwolves defeated Westmoore by just two points 73-71. 2017 Star Point Guard Trae Young posted 29 points, 12 assists, and 8 rebounds in the win.
Lawton Ike battled Bishop McGuinness on the road in a Class 5A top ten matchup. It took overtime, but Lawton Ike outlasted McGuinness 60-58. 2016 Mercer Signee Darius Roy had another big game for the Eagles. 2017 Shooting Guard Mason Webb had a breakout game scoring 27 points in the loss.
Tulsa Hale takes down Edison despite 25 points from Stefone Richardson. Edison is now 1-3, what is happening to the Eagles? They won’t have much time to sulk with the Bixby Tournament starting on Thursday.
Putnam City North kept their momentum rolling with an overtime victory over Putnam City. Micah Speight lifted Putnam City North to victory with a jumper with six seconds remaining in overtime.
Carl Albert smoked Guthrie 79-41 on Tuesday night. 2018 Guards Mason Harrell and Trey Hopkins continue to dominate for the Titans.
Chickasha knocked off Tuttle 50-48 handing the Tigers their second loss of the season. Chickasha continues to rise up the rankings in Class 4A.
Fort Gibson dispatched Verdigris 68-58 in the Inola Tournament on Tuesday. The Tigers are once again in the hunt to be a State Tournament team.
Heritage Hall destroyed Cascia Hall 74-38 at home. Can anyone beat Heritage Hall in Class 3A?
