The Chargers jumped out to a 41-18 lead at the break and never looked back, approaching a running clock in the fourth quarter. They used their size to dominate the paint and glass, and an efficient offense that thrived with looks at the rim led to open looks from the perimeter. After the first four minutes, the game was never in doubt.
Chariton (6-0) was led by T.J. Hockenson, who had 29 points, 12 rebounds and six assists. Daric Laing added 18 points and Lim Chuol had 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Interstate 35 (4-2) was led by Jaylan White, the lone double figure scorer, with 12. He had probably his worst shooting night of his career, going 4-18 from the floor in the loss. Brennan McCuddin added nine points on 3-6 from behind the arc.
