Edmond North has been rolling this season on the hardwood. The Huskies are off to a 4-0 start with all four wins coming against top ten opponents in Class 6A. If they are able to defeat Edmond Santa Fe on Saturday they will have their fifth win over a top ten opponent.
Edmond Santa Fe has responded this weekend after a blowout loss to Mustang on Tuesday night. The Wolves showed grit and toughness against Putnam City North on Friday night. The leadership of Tyler Williams and Conner Johnson was key for the Wolves.
On Saturday night at the Edmond Open Edmond Santa Fe must get out to a good start against Edmond North. The Huskies have been shooting the ball very well from the floor. If Edmond Santa Fe can get out to a good start it will help build their confidence.
Tre Evans and Marques Wilson have been an unstoppable duo this weekend. Edmond Santa Fe will need to slow down one of them if they are going to win the game. Edmond North will have their hands full guarding Kristoff Hayden, Tyler Williams, and Conner Johnson. What makes Edmond Santa Fe so tough is they spread the ball very well.
The Edmond Open Title game will be close at the start of the forth quarter, but Edmond North pulls away and gains their fifth straight win over a top ten opponent in Class 6A, and the Edmond Open Title.
