“Practices are going well.” Wilson said. We are all working hard trying to get better and get ready for scrimmages and the season. Everyone is excited to see what is in store for us.”
Wilson has a certain swagger when he takes the floor, which is rarely seen in underclassmen. He has tremendous size for his age at 6’4” and counting.
His size allows him to do a variety of things at both the Point and as a two guard. Wilson has an impressive handle and floor vision. He also posseses a natural feel for the game shown by his ability to dictate pace.
Even with those skills under his belt, Wilson says still is sharpening his game.
“Basketball is a constant learning process for me,” Wilson said. I’m constantly gaining knowledge of the game and how to be a better Point Guard. Right now I’m focused on my ball handling, shooting, and defense.”
Along side these skills, Wilson looks to expand his role by being a leader on and off the floor. Look for a huge season for Wilson on the court.
