In the Prep Hoops Oklahoma Game of the Week against the third ranked Webster Warriors, Harris scorched the defense, scoring 45 points. The 5'9″ Point Guard was unstoppable.
With Elijah Landrum in foul trouble, Harris stepped up in the first half. Defenders struggled to handle his quickness. Throughout the game, he was able to get to the rim at will.
Harris is able to score in all three phases of the game, and that is what separates him. He had a beautiful mid-range floater that gave him success all night. He lit it up from behind the arc, making 5-8 on the night.
The offensive end was not the only place Harris thrived against Webster. He snagged several steals and turned his defense into easy offense.
Not many people around the state knew who Harris was coming into this season. But after his stellar performance Friday night, everyone should know the name Mike Harris
He had a terrific preseason and has continued his great play into the Braves regular season. Harris has no college offers on the table, but expect that to change very soon.
