2017 Union Forward Adrian Rodriguez picked up his first Division I offer late Thursday night from Air Force. The offer comes following a fanatic summer on the Grassroots circuit with the Oklahoma Wolfpack.
Rodriguez was excited to see a Division I program taking notice of his talents.
“It is a relief,” Rodriguez said. “My hard work is starting to pay off.”
Rodriguez is primed for a monster season at Union playing in the post with 2017 Forward Ethan Chargois. The low post combination of Chargois and Rodriguez will give opponents fits.
You will never see Rodriguez take a play off on the hardwood. He takes every play personally and is a leader on the floor. Defense is a priority for Rodriguez at all times.
This summer Rodriguez took his offensive game to another level with the Oklahoma Wolfpack. He began to knock down the mid-range jumper consistently. The work ethic of Rodriguez is a notch above the rest.
This will not be the last time a college program takes interest in Rodriguez. Expect to hear more and more about Rodriguez over the next two years.
