Over his first two seasons at Tulsa Memorial Rose has been a role player primarily. He focused on doing what ever was asked of him to get his team a victory.
This season the role of Rose at Tulsa Memorial will change drastically. Rose will be looked to by Head Coach Bobby Allison to become a playmaker for the Chargers.
This summer Rose improved his game playing with the Oklahoma Hustlers on the grassroots circuit. Rose displayed his ability to score the basketball at a high level. Several times throughout the summer Rose took over games willing his team to victory.
He excels driving to the basket and finishing through contact. Opponents are forced to respect his shot from behind the arc, which does not allow them to key on his drive to the hoop.
However, scoring is just the beginning to his game. Tough defense, hustle, and rebounding the basketball is what describes Rose's game best.
The ability to guard multiple positions sets Rose apart. With the ball in his hands Rose is quick and athletic and can create offense for himself and his teammates.
This season Rose will begin as an unknown player to many, but there is potential for Rose to have a breakout year at Tulsa Memorial. Keep a close watch on Rose over the next two seasons.
