High-Major Targets
C Jeremiah Tilmon (East St. Louis)
The premier prospect in the state regardless of class. Tilmon has a special combination of size, athleticism, and skill. Became a more dominant player with St. Louis Eagles in the Nike EYBL.
PF Christian Negron (Larkin)
The 6’6” super bouncy four man is an elite athlete that has a never ending motor. He is quick the basket when he gets the ball and finishes above the rim with authority. Good rebounder that is improving perimeter game.
Mid-Major Targets
PF Manny Patterson (Kenwood)
Patterson is a wide shouldered 6’7” four man that made progress this spring and summer showing improved offensive skill. Defensive presence and tough rebounder.
PF Cameron Krutwig (Jacobs)
The Jacobs post impressed college coaches playing with Young Legends on the travel team circuit earning several offers. Low post presence could have big junior season.
PF AJ Epenesa (Edwardsville)
Physical four man that was great as a sophomore. Elite 5-star football prospect so he will not play college hoops.
Low-Major Targets
PF Lenell Henry (Morgan Park)
Long and athletic 6’7” four man with a world of potential. Good rebounder and shot blocking presence defensively. Most of offensive points come in transition and on lobs.
PF TJ Clifford (Downers Grove South)
Clifford boosted his stock in July with the Illinois Wolves. Strong and mobile four man that is physical finishing around the hoop and runs the floor well.
PF Malik Binns (Morgan Park)
Tough and athletic undersized four man at 6’5” that is dominant from 10 feet and in. Hits the offensive glass and moves bodies with his strength.
PF Justin Carpenter (Mt. Carmel)
This southern Illinois 6’7” power forward might be the best kept secret of the post prospects in the state. He is mobile, runs the floor, finishes around the hoop, and can knock down face up jump shots.
PF Tee’Aaron Powell (Marian Catholic)
Long and angular four man that is athletic and has the potential to make a big leap in his game this season.
PF Collin Stallworth (Rochester)
Mobile power forward at 6’5” that is an active rebounder and scores on the interior with quickness.
On the Radar
C Anthony Cameron (Tilden)
Wide bodied center at 6’9” that is a space eater on the interior. Still a bit raw, but showed potential in July.
PF Connor Niego (Lyons)
Face up four man that runs the floor tremendously well and has upside especially if he adds strength.
PF Jackson Perkins (Barrington)
Active rebounder that plays with a tremendous motor. Showed he is willing to do the little things in July with the Illinois Wolves.
