He is a big, strong kid who should be a solid presence in the paint for Lincoln. He has been working hard to make himself into a true post player and has has had a solid off-season. Lincoln will need him to be a monster on the boards as they aren’t very big aside from him. He has shown that ability and he can score when he gets the ball deep on the block. He is also a decent athlete who can get up and down the floor well and finish on the break.

The big man has made some big strides and improved his game throughout the off-season. He’s got a big frame and has worked on being a back to the basket scorer. He had a great showing at the Expo Top 250, including a breakaway game winning dunk in a game that he also scored 19 points in. He should be able to move people around with his strength making him tough to stop when he goes at the rim. Lincoln will need him to be a monster on the boards, something that his size and athletic ability will allow for him to do.

Ulsh was lurking on our radar after last season but really made a strong impression at the WA Top 250 Expo. Strong finishing and an excellent motor, Ulsh has the qualities you look for in a guy who can contribute just off his activity alone. He was great rolling to the hoop, making himself available for passes, and cleaning up around the rim. He’ll be a big piece for Lincoln this season.

Ulsh was a tank when I got to watch him at the Expo. He has a wide-shouldered frame and is a tough task to move off the glass. He positions himself well underneath the rim and uses a classic over-the-shoulder move, creating space and finishing with either hand. At 6’6 and a true post player, he should be on some radars moving forward for his size and big man traits.
