Expert Analysis
David Gardner | Prep Hoops Scout
Averaging just under 10 points and 4.5 rebounds per game last season, Cooper is one of the most talented shooters in the state. His 6’6″ frame and quick trigger make him a tough defend on the perimeter. Cooper has improved in the painted area, making him a threat at all levels and spots on the floor. The recent Air Force commit has the size and shooting capability that makes college scouts drool and will have a huge senior year.

of Millard South is a sharpshooting forward who made a notable impact in his limited play last season, averaging 9.9 points. With a high energy playing style, he’s a classic 3-D player who can excel on both ends of the court. Will’s ability to battle down low and spread the floor with his three-point shooting sets him apart. is another guy that played really well this summer. On a team filled with super talented guards, one could argue he was the most impactful player on his team. There are very few players who play as hard as Cooper does. He brings energy and toughness on both ends of the floor, while also being a consistent scoring presence from the outside and the interior. Thus far, Cooper has earned a couple of Division 2 offers. If I had to guess, more will come his way before it is all said and done.

of Millard South and ETG Midwest is another forward that adds to the depth of this 2024 class. Cooper is a physical 6’6 forward who stretches the defense due to his ability to shoot the ball from beyond the three point line. He stands out because of how hard he plays on both ends of the court, never taking a play off. Cooper does not back down from anyone, and is the type of guy coaches can always rely on to be in the right spot at the right time, and hit big shots with the game on the line. College coaches looking for a dynamic forward should check out Cooper.
