Bibioff was one of the top scorers in the Section last season, but putting up points in volume like Von was doing at a small school from a small town makes it tough to get your name on anyone’s radar. Bibioff made the move to Clovis West and had a solid start with the Golden Eagles in June and again in the early portion of the Fall portion of the season, but suffered a hand injury and just returned a few weeks ago at the Sanger West Fall-Out Showcase, where he displayed his elite bounce, court vision, on-court speed, and ability to light it up from beyond the arc and score in volume. Bibioff has great handles, keeps the dribble alive to probe the defense to find openings to attack, has a variety of moves to get open looks, using the crossover combos, hesitation, fadeaway, and step-back to get free from his opponent, gets great lift on the jumper as he hunts the mid-range jumper with body control on the air, moves fluidly off the ball to get to his shot spots, and can catch fire with the 3-ball off the dribble or the catch, and is a crafty scorer around the basket with the euro-step, spin-move, and up-and-under lay-ups, as well as the bounce to take flight and play above the rim. Bibioff will be relied upon to bring the senior leadership to the Golden Eagles this season, and the way he played at the Fall-Out event showed why he will be called upon to put up points and space the floor.
