Walker is a lengthy and active forward that crashes the boards, uses his length and agility to be a versatile defender, and runs the floor well in the open court. Walker, a recent addition to Clovis West, showed his ability to alter shots in the paint, as well as closing out to contest perimeter shots, and uses his long strides to get up the court to get ahead of the defense in transition, which are the strengths of his game at the moment. Walker moves fluidly off the ball to find openings in the defense, gets to the dunker spot opposite the ball handler attacking the basket, or cutting off the baseline to get open looks around the basket, has good hands and feel on the finish to score in traffic, has touch on the little float-hook shot, and has good timing on the dive to the basket out of the pick and roll action. Walker has a lot of room for growth in his game and by adding a jumper, some handles to attack from the top of the key or the perimeter, and improved footwork to be a truly impactful multidimensional defender, making him a true two-way threat is his ceiling.
