About Vaughn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My game play style is high energy and unselfish. I do whatever it takes to win whether its feeding my teammates and playing gritty defense or getting a bucket when my team needs one. I'd say I'm a pass first PG with a very good and capable jump shot. I take pride on the defensive end by making sure to not give up easy buckets and playing the passing lanes very aggressive to help create turnovers

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a very competitive and high energy player. I play both sides of the ball and don't take plays off. I'm also a leader on and off the court. On the court I make sure to help everyone know what's going on. Being the Point Guard it's very important to know the game and make sure everyone knows what they're supposed to be doing and where to be if you're gonna be a successful team.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm an honor roll student that takes pride in my schoolwork. I've also done a few church mission trips and helped out others through Organizations like Feed My Starving Children.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've learned how people's mentality is a huge factor in peoples success as well as in their failure. In order to help support them you need to understand where they're coming from. This is true on and off the court.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college where I can develop a good relationship with the coaches, and they will help me develop my game on the court and as a person/student off the court.
