Wilmington is a pure point guard with elite handles, fantastic vision, and is a gifted passer with a great feel for the game. He has the ball on a string, plays with pace and changes speeds well, and is a creative finisher around the rim. As an on-ball defender he’s really strong, moving his feet extremely well and making life uncomfortable for opposing ball-handlers with his quick hands. He averaged 4.7 points and 2.0 assists per game as a freshman and will step into a much more significant role as a sophomore.
