Tyson Harper continues to be one of the most overlooked guards in the state.
The Kings Fork standout has been a major reason behind Team Loaded 757’s success this spring, and every time he steps on the floor he seems to find a way to impact the game. While many know him as an elite shooter, his overall game has continued to evolve.
Harper is capable of completely changing a game with his shooting ability. Defenders simply cannot leave him open, as he’s one of the best perimeter shooters in the 757. However, what has impressed evaluators this spring is how much more complete his offensive game has become.
He’s developed into a strong downhill attacker who uses changes of speed and pace effectively to create separation. Once he gets a defender off balance, he’s able to either finish at the rim or create opportunities for teammates.
On the defensive side, Harper brings an edge that coaches love. He competes hard, applies pressure, and consistently makes life difficult for opposing guards. His motor and competitive nature show up every game.
The fact that he’s already earned an official visit to Regent University speaks to the respect he has gained from college programs. With another strong summer and what should be a breakout senior season at Kings Fork, expect his recruitment and ranking to continue trending upward.
