Davis Jr. impressed with Boo Williams this offseason, showcasing his ability as a skilled, versatile scoring guard with a diverse offensive skill set. A reliable perimeter shot maker, he has a quick first step and the ability to create his own offense off the dribble. He changes directions effectively, gets downhill and uses his creativity and touch to finish around defenders in the paint. Davis Jr. also displays impressive court vision and the ability to create scoring opportunities for his teammates. On the defensive end, he is a willing on ball defender who uses his quickness to pressure opposing guards.
