Melvin Wofford is a guard playing for Team Loaded 757 this summer. The first thing that stood out to me about him was his ability to beat the press. His handle and ball security are incredibly high-level stuff. The passes he made were crisp and on point. And he just never seemed to be rattled. He throws very good lead passes, which led to efficient transition offense time and time again. The ability to push the pace and orchestrate an offense while protecting the ball is an important skill and he’s got lots of it.

The junior is a quick, athletic, high-scoring lead guard who consistently pressures the defense. He is difficult to keep out of the paint, changes speeds effectively, and finishes creatively around the rim. Wofford also shows playmaking ability, creating quality offensive opportunities for teammates as well as himself.
