. is one of the faster guards out there and can get to the basket in the blink of an eye. You can also tell that he studies the game by the way he reads the defense. On the other end of the court, he hunts steals and can take it coast to coast if there’s an opportunity.

Don’t let Darden Jr. get downhill or he will burn you. He has the speed and finishing ability to make not so easy shots around the basket. He’s also a decent shooter from the perimeter. On defense, Darden Jr. leverages his lateral quickness to come up with steals and can push transition after said steal. All in all, he put together a solid senior campaign.

JT Darden accelerated past his defender more than a few times on Tuesday night. He showed burst and he had some nice finishes as well. Darden Jr. also made a 3-pointer and got to the free throw line. While the Aggies didn’t get the win, he emptied the tank and displayed his competitiveness.

JT Darden facilitated much of Arbor View’s offense in their game against Somerset Losee. The senior guard used his crafty ball-handling skills to get his defender out of position. From there he hit the gas pedal and got to the cup on a number of occasions. I also noticed him hustling on the defensive end, and it was impressive how he didn’t tire despite playing most of the game.

Darden Jr has caught my eye with his speed and shooting these last few months. He can blow right by his guy and get to the cup. Or knock down shots from the perimeter. The other thing you see when you watch him play is how hard he competes. Previously at 22, I’ve moved him up 5 spots to the 17 position.

Darden Jr will be running the point for Arbor View. He shot well in the Fall Varsity League and also does a nice job of creating shots for his teammates. With his speed and ball-handling, Arbor View should be able to push transition a bit this season. The other thing that I like about his game is the way that he competes. He’s always playing hard when he’s out there.

Darden will be a handful for opposing teams this year. On Tuesday night, the senior guard displayed his speed and deceleration skills. He did a really great job keep defenders off balance and drove to the rim often against Centennial. “JT” also showed his range and connected on a few 3-pointers. With

Darden looked like a player preparing for a big senior season. He was virtually unstoppable in a camp setting showing an improved hesitation dribble, which left defenders frozen. He displayed a smooth game, featuring slashing, and knocking down jumpers off the bounce.
