goes from 25 to 21 in my final 2026 rankings update. The 6’5 senior committed to Providence College in Rhode Island not long ago, and it’s clear that he’s ready to take the next step. He gets it done from 3-Point land and has a quick release that defenders don’t always anticipate. Hearns can also make plays above the rim, and throws down dunks if there’s an opportunity. As a defender, he’s constantly on the move and can cover ground quickly between his large strides and wingspan. Look for him to keep progressing.

got going offensively for the Aggies, connecting on a pair of 3-pointers while also adding a couple of baskets on layups and put-backs. On the defensive end, Hearns covered ground well, consistently closed out on CIVICA’s shooters, and rebounded.

was one of the tallest guards at the combine and he posted a 76 inch wingspan. He’s definitely known for his shot making and scoring. So seeing that he has long arms to go with his height should give him some advantages at the next level.

so far this AAU season. He has been assertive with the rock and he seems to be making a good amount of his shots from downtown. He also looks like he has been getting downhill more often. On the other end of the court, Hearns doesn’t give his man much breathing room and he plays with intensity.

got going early and knocked down three shots from downtown in the first half. He was also active around the rim and had a tip-in and a few rebounds. Then in the second half, Hearns had a late steal and rebound in the last minute to help Prominent Elite secure the win. All in all, I liked how he played.

Hearns made an impact in Arbor View’s game against Shadow Ridge by hustling on defense. The junior caught his opponents off guard a few times and came up some blocks and a steal. In addition to his stellar defensive play, he connected on some nice looking jump shots.

Hearns is a shooter and plays some quality defense as well. It appeared that he had some good chemistry with his guards in the Fall Varsity League. I believe he’s capable of knocking down a couple of threes every game for the Aggies this season.

Hearns is a player with tons of talent. A transfer from Faith Lutheran a season ago, he performed well as a JV player for one of the state’s most talented teams. He has always played well when I’ve seen him during Grassroots action. This weekend I expect the Vegas Elite vet to perform no differently. Should lay eyes on him to see if the sharpshooter has added any height, or muscle to his frame.

Hearns is a player that has impressed every time I’ve walked in to watch him play. It was no different during the JV game I saw. The wing was able to score around the basket, while showing a nice outside shooting touch.
