Victor Taylor | Prep Hoops Scout
Crite is the only wing on the list, but still has been able to average 22.6 PPG, mostly coming from inside the arc. He’s more physical than everyone on the court, and it doesn’t hurt he has a size advantage too. He makes his living hitting tough shots in the interior and the mid-range, looking to take guys off the dribble or from a closeout. He’ll be able to keep his team in many games due to his ability to just go get a bucket, and he’ll continue to do that on Tuesday in the first round of the state championship.

Crite has been outstanding all season long for Brevard, and it’s time we give him his props as his team got a big win over Chase HS. It’s not his biggest statistical output of the season, but his 21 point, 14 rebound performance was a key factor in the dominant win. He’s an efficient shot taker and maker who does his damage around the lane and the mid-range areas. He also uses his size and athleticism to outclass people on both ends of the glass, and should still be a force in that part of the game when he gets to college. He will be a massive mover in our next rankings update.

Crite has shown off his versatility for Brevard High this season as his production has demonstrated. He’s shown he knows how to utilize his size in posting 24.5 PPG, 9.5 RPG, 2.5 SPG, 1.9 APG and 1.1 BPG through 14 games. He’s shown he can operate inside the perimeter with his size in a variety of ways. As he’s climbs up the PH radar, DII and DIII programs would be wise to get eyes on the wing-forward.
