+12 (#89 to #77)
McGovern, a forward out of Marblehead High School in Massachusetts, rose 12 spots in this update and now sits at #77 overall. The lengthy forward fits a unique archetype as a floor spacer and rim protector. He does a nice job of stepping out behind the arc and getting into his jumper in catch and shoot situations, or as a pop guy out of ball screens, offensively. On the other end of the floor, his length is a major asset, as he shows good instincts and timing as a shot blocker around the rim.

McGovern, a sophomore forward out of Marblehead, is a really versatile prospect that is just starting to understand all the ways in which he can impact a game. Defensively, he uses his 6’5″ frame to his advantage by making plays in passing lanes, cleaning up on the glass, and protecting the rim. Offensively, he has the ability to attack the basket off the bounce and has a variety of finishing moves in the paint.

McGovern, a forward out of Marblehead High School, checks into the rankings at #89 overall and #11 among the power forwards. McGovern does a bit of everything on the offensive end of the floor, showing the ability to operate both inside and outside of the paint. He’s got the physicality needed to play through contact around the rim, a good feel for hard rolls and short rolls out of ball screens, and touch out to the three point line. Defensively, he’s super long and uses his length to make an impact in passing lanes and to protect the rim at a high level.
