In reviewing Chapman, I couldn’t get to the keyboard fast enough to speak highly of his release and touch. A shooter that has to be located and you have to close quick and high because of his height. Chapman is also excellent in getting to his balance on a shot at the arc, on the attack, and on the pull-up which is a big reason he finishes in high percentages. Uses his body really well to finish when around the basket and to separate after using a dribble in getting to an attempt.

Known as a knockdown shooter, Chapman continues to stretch out and add durability to his frame, and it’s added another element to his game this spring. He’s become much more active around the rim and has used his size well on the offensive glass. As he continues to add layers to his game throughout the spring and summer, his development will be one to monitor closely. Like most great shooters, he does a great job of finding space in transition and runs the floor well. With his positional size, if he puts together a strong weekend in Tulsa at the Pro16 and NXTPro Live Period — especially on the defensive end — his shooting ability will continue to attract programs looking for a much-needed floor spacer at the next level.

He can score from all three levels, rebound effectively, and defend multiple positions, making him a true all-around threat. What sets Tommy apart is his efficiency — he makes smart decisions, takes high-quality shots, and plays within the flow of the game while still dominating when his team needs him most. His combination of size, skill, and basketball IQ makes him a matchup nightmare and a cornerstone player with a bright future ahead.
