Expert Analysis

One of the top guards I saw at the 15u level this weekend, TJ is lightning quick with the ball in his hands. He was able to beat his man off the dribble just about any time he wants to, establishing two feet in the paint to make plays for himself and his teammates. Even as one of the smaller players on the floor he’s fearless attacking the basket, but also has the touch to slow up and finish over the top of shot blockers. TJ is always getting his teammates involved, and is a pest on the ball defensively.

TJ handles are elite—smooth, controlled, and unpredictable. He keeps the ball on a string, shifting pace and direction with ease, making it nearly impossible for defenders to stay in front of him. With tight crossovers, deceptive hesitations, and lightning-quick changes of speed, he breaks players down one-on-one, forcing them off balance and opening up lanes to attack. Every dribble feels intentional, setting up the defender for the next move, and by the time they react, TJ is already past them.

Adams stood out for me with his active hands on the defensive front. Especially with his work in the 3v3 segment. A high-volume shooter that can get hot at any moment.
