The rare talent that is Ware thrives as a two-sport athlete at Lakeview Academy. During the early months of the fall semester, he is catching passes as a wide receiver for the Lions’ varsity football team. During the months of the spring and summer, he wears the uniform of AAU organization Norcross Heat. Ware is listed at 6-foot-6 and will play with his back to the basket when he is close to the rim. He also has the ability to connect from long range. Ware is also a reliable rebounder and has no problems finishing with the left hand. Ware is mainly listed as a small forward.

Tayden Ware Tayden Ware 6'7" | PF Lakeview Academy | 2025 State GA will control the paint and that’s exactly what he did on Saturday. A big 6’6 body, Ware doesn’t need to score to impact the game. He’s very active, fights for boards, and plays hard defense. After a great spring with Norcross Heat and two strong showings with Southern Hoops Report, Ware’s name is trending in the right direction.

Saturday’s camp presented the opportunity to get a good look at Tayden Ware Tayden Ware 6'7" | PF Lakeview Academy | 2025 State GA , a Lakeview Academy prospect who’s created some buzz with the Norcross Heat this spring. Right off the bat, Ware’s size is imposing. 6’6 and 200 lbs, sturdy but fairly mobile. The bounce came out at times where we saw him get above the rim for putbacks or lobs. His offensive skillset also showed glimmers, an encouraging jumpshot and some low post scoring.

Ware has physical tools that stand out. Not only is he long, but he’s strong. Tayden fancies himself as more of a wing than a forward. He likes to shoot from the perimeter and has shown flashes of being a talented finisher at the hoop.

Ware has a really good frame. He’s got some nice strength and a projectable body with wide shoulders. He plays a lot on the perimeter instead of using his physical gifts around the rim. He handles the ball well and is a nimble athlete. Tayden has long strides when getting downhill. Ware has too many tools to not develop into a fine tweener prospect.
