About Stoney

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I use my strength and size to rebound and hustle for loose balls. I also like to use my size to drive to the hole. Shooting three pointers is also one of my strengths.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I like to joke around with my teammates and also hype them up when they make good plays. Also build them up and give them advice. I also love to win and will do whatever my coach thinks is best for my team to win.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I ref for Grand Valley Youth Football and also ref basketball. I have a 4.0 GPA and I want to make sure I can get a scholarship for academics if athletics doesn’t work out.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I also play football and I am a quarterback so I have learned how important to a team to have a leader. Like I said, I like to joke around with my teammates because it shows that can they can trust me and talk to me both when we are and off the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I used to live in Texas and had to deal with moving from Texas to Colorado. I had a core group of friends in Texas and it was hard moving away from them and developing new friends at a young age.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that will develop me, take me in and make me a better person and player.
