Another prospect on the move for next high school season, Harris is now at Roosevelt as the Compton Magic point guard is looking to keep up his positive momentum this winter. Harris is a natural scorer from the point guard position and has the quickness and athleticism to score acrobatic layups at the rim. Harris holds four early offers from San Francisco, Saint Louis, Oral Roberts and Sacramento State. When some top mid major programs already identified you as a priority in the rising junior high school class, that shows me that you are either an instant impact player at that level or a potential high major prospect.

Harris had an outstanding game in a close win for Compton Magic over New Heights 16s, as he would take advantage of more shot opportunities with rising sophomore

playing up with the 17u squad for the Invitational. The 6-foot-3 combo guard was in his bag offensively, as he has a strong handle on the ball to keep defenders from crowding his dribbling space, a good burst of speed off the dribble to get into the teeth of the defense, and uses his strong build to finish through contact, or his athleticism to finish with creativity on the lay-ups. Harris has the moves to create space from his defender, makes good use of the change of pace and direction to get open, and is accurate with the mid-range jumper driving down the lane. Harris is effective with the 3-ball off the dribble or off the catch. Defensively, Harris has good footwork and lateral movement to stay in front of his opponent, strong hands to rip the ball out, and the timing to jump passing lanes and get into the open court where he can take flight for the power dunk. I was able to see Harris at 3SSB Session 1 and his perimeter shot mechanics and efficiency have made progress, which goes well with his elite athleticism and lock-up defense.

Harris was one of the better two way guards I had the opportunity to see. Tough, physical defender who creates chaos for his opponents. Guards the full length of the court at a high level. Offensively just as dangerous. An elite scorer off the dribble. Uses his speed and tight handle to get opponents off balance then knocks down the quick basket before they get their balance back. Look for Harris to be a highly sought after guard in the 2027 class.

A fast guard with handles, and change of direction. He used a couple of moves to free himself up for paint jumpers, and contact drives to the basket. He dropped a couple of 3-pointers along the perimeter. He has quick hands to get steals, and foot speed on the defensive side of the ball.
