has a lot of raw, untapped potential. Not only does Simeon have great physical tools, he’s already a legit shot blocker with advanced timing and instincts. Simeon is averaging 19.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.4 steals, and an absurd 4.1 blocks per game this season. He’s a stat stuffer who impacts the game in multiple ways. Not to mention he’s shooting 75.9% from the field. Simeon uses his height and length for easy buckets and dunks. He cleans up a lot of messes and is one of the best rebounders in the state of Wisconsin. He’s recorded 11 double doubles and one triple double (17 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 blocks). He runs the floor hard in transition and often starts the break by using his length to disrupt passes and shots. In addition, he’s done a decent job of helping and recovering on defense. He’s got freakishly, Giannis like strides, that allow him to get to one end of the court with ease. He has a nice touch from the free throw line and is growing his outside shot. If he can develop a nice, consistent jump-shot, Simeon will add a ton of value to his next team. He currently holds offers from UW-Milwaukee and UW-Green Bay.

Simeon continues to be one of the best unsigned players in Wisconsin’s 2023 class. He has size at 6’8, very long arms, and is an impressive athlete. Despite those physical characteristics, I think the most impressive thing about Simeon is his work rate. He runs the floor as hard as any big in transition, hunts down just about any shot that comes off the rim, and embraces contact on both ends of the floor. That high effort led to a handful of put-back buckets as well as a drawn charge on the other end. In the half-court he was dangerous out of the pick & roll because of his quickness towards the rim, as well as the coordination to catch and finish in one motion.

In a tough matchup against Homestead, it was Simeon making big plays on both ends to keep Hamilton in it. Defensively he was a menace in the paint, blocking five shots and showing he can move his feet on the perimeter against wings. One of his most impressive attributes his how quickly he gets off the floor. That quick burst allows him to thrown down dunks off the catch without having to bring the ball down much, and also allows him to quickly slide in from the help-side and get a hand on shots. Add in finishing touch with either hand and solid passing vision, and you have a post prospect that D1’s will want to keep an eye on this winter. Finished with 13 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists, 5 blocks, and 3 steals.
