Macias is a name we’re keeping high on our watchlist because there’s a real scorer’s mentality in his game. He has the kind of shooting touch that can change a game quickly and his comfort level from deep forces defenders to respect him well beyond the arc. He can also create enough off the bounce to keep them guessing, with the footwork and touch to finish when he gets to the rim. The exciting part is how many different ways he can put points on the board. If he continues rounding out the rest of his game, Macias has the offensive tools to make some noise as he moves forward

Macias was simply a bucket throughout the showcase, showing off a smooth shooting stroke that made him tough to keep in check. He knocked down contested jumpers with confidence and showed impressive range, forcing defenders to stay attached whenever he had the ball. When he put the ball on the floor, Macias had a nice up and under move that helped him finish around the basket. He just kept finding ways to score, whether it was from deep, in the midrange or attacking the rim. Once he got rolling, slowing him down became a serious challenge
