Pena is a name we want to keep around because his motor gives him a chance to become a really useful player as he continues to develop. He plays with a high level of urgency, flies around the floor and seems to find his way into the action no matter what’s happening. Defensively he has the instincts to disrupt possessions, get into passing lanes and turn pressure into opportunities going the other way. The best part is that he doesn’t need plays called for him to matter. If Pena continues adding to his offensive game while keeping that same competitive edge his overall value could climb quickly

Pena brought the kind of nonstop energy that immediately stood out during the showcase. He never seemed willing to give up on a play, constantly hustling and competing from one possession to the next. He was active defensively using his effort and instincts to come up with multiple steals and deflections that helped create extra opportunities for his team. He made his presence felt without needing the ball in his hands, flying around the floor and making winning plays. That motor and competitive edge made Pena a player who was easy to notice every time he stepped on the court

Pena provided an instant spark off the bench with his confidence and perimeter shooting. He made the most of his opportunities by knocking down the three ball that gave his team valuable offensive momentum. His readiness to contribute as soon as he entered the game showed both his preparation and composure. Beyond his shooting, Pena competed with energy and brought a positive presence that helped elevate his team’s play. His ability to change the flow of a game in limited minutes made him a standout role player throughout the day.
