Salsbery sees a rise in the rankings based on his consistent production and matchup versatility. Averaging 16.8 points and 7.5 rebounds, he proved to be a reliable force every night, impacting the game on both ends. His size makes him a problem inside, where he controls space, finishes through contact and cleans up on the glass. What elevates his stock even more is his ability to step out and stretch the floor, showing he can be a true three level scorer. That combination makes him extremely difficult to guard and forces defenses to adjust. He’s not just flashing potential he’s producing, often flirting with or securing double doubles on a nightly basis. As that consistency continues, Salsbery is solidifying himself as one of the more dependable and versatile prospects in his class

The 6’5 sophomore wing came into the season as one of the unknown commodities, but with his play this year, that quickly changed. Right now, he’s playing some of the best basketball out of anybody in the class to begin the new year, and he has his team sitting at 6-1 on the year. He’s averaging 17.7 points a game, which is on par with his season average, but a deeper look shows him in the best stretch of the season. He’s put up 20+ points in three straight games with an efficient explosion of 30 points on 10-12 shooting from the field. He’s dominating teams with inside and out, finishing on double teams, and playing the right way. He’s a player we’re still curious about, but his play to start the new year has to be discussed. We’re curious to see more.

He’s had double figures in every game with explosive games of 25 points and 20 points, including double-doubles in those games. He’s a three-level scorer who is shooting 50% from beyond the arc on solid volume. He looks comfortable, on the floor, checks off a ton of boxes and is a player who will continue to grow. He jumps from the watch list onto the rankings this go-round and is a player to watch.

Salsbery made a strong impression over the summer, proving he’s a real threat every time he steps on the court. His shooting range was on full display, confidently knocking down shots from deep, and his combination of length and quickness allowed him to blow by defenders and finish strong at the rim. As he heads into the season, the next step in his development is fully utilizing his 6’5 frame to dominate both ends of the floor. Offensively continuing to rise up and shoot over smaller defenders will make him even tougher to guard. Defensively by using his length to disrupt passing lanes, close out on shooters and contest shots at the rim will make it tough on opponents. If he locks in on becoming a two way force, Salsbery has all the makings of a player ready to break into the ranked list
