A new addition to I4, Buckley is a small town bucket getter. In previous viewings, he has shown the ability to get hot quicker from deep. While also snaking to the rim with a compact and sturdy build. He was just getting his feet wet this week with his new team, but is expected to provide a scoring punch. While also helping out with playmaking and ballhandling duties.

Buckley packs quite a scoring punch. Has range from deep, with stepback moves and other confident off the dribble makes. While also playing compact and strong on drives to the rim. Giving him the balance and strength to finish through contact for “And 1s”. Has had a very productive start to his high school career with two strong seasons at Kellyville. And it has carried over into the springs as a ringleader for successful 2027 based squads.

Team Trae Young ‘s 15U based squad has been one of the most successful 15U teams in the region. It’s a squad filled with heady and talented guards, who simply know how to play. One of the leaders of the bunch is the Kellyville Pony, who started on a Class 3A State Tournament squad. He fits perfectly into this balanced group, with the occasional three pointer, keeping the ball moving and contributions to winning. Buckley and his northeast Oklahoma based teammates will get a chance to continue to their winning ways at the Recruit Look event in Kansas City.

Ryker is one of those guys that does it all as a guard. He can give you 3 level scoring but can turn into a passer. He makes free throws consistently, too. He can give you spot up shooting or off the dribble attacking downhill. Plays well off a screen and makes good reads to limit turnovers. Active hands on defense, will deny ball with good effort, looking for steals in the passing lane. A selfless guard that will fill the role asked for the betterment of the team. I would love to see him turn into a serious 3-point shooter, showing signs that he can and will knock them down with attempts.

Freshman alert! Top 10, Class 3A ranked Kellyville moved to 5-2 on the season with a 62-57 win over Riverfield Country Day. The youngster exploded for 25 points for the Ponies. There’s a lot of freshmen starting to make waves throughout the state, and the young lead guard is now on the list of early prospects to keep an eye on as he attempts to help his squad to the Big House in a loaded 3A.
