Bethel makes the move to Calvary Christian for his junior season following an impressive summer with the KT Kings, where he earned MADE Hoops Challenge Circuit MVP honors. Debuting at #39 in our updated rankings, Bethel is a versatile combo forward and high level athlete with an intriguing offensive skill set. He is especially effective in the midrange and plays with an impressive feel for the game. Bethel also brings consistent activity to the glass, where he is a productive rebounder on both ends of the floor.

After watching Bethel over the last three months, I feel safe in saying this will be his breakout season. In a lot of ways it’s already begun. Liberty extended an offer after the versatile and athletic wing turned in standout performance after standout performance during July. The energy he plays with on both ends of the floor will likely be how he breaks through the lineup this season- but Bethel is just scratching the surface of what he’s capable of.

Not many know the name yet, but the skill set and upside are undeniable. Bethel is a dominant rebounder who controls the glass and quickly pushes the ball in transition. He has great court vision for a big, can knock down mid-range shots, and plays with a high motor. Defensively, he’s an interior force who alters shots and makes life difficult for opponents.
