Making the move to Calvary Christian for the 2026-27 season, Hayes impressed with the KT Kings throughout the spring and summer on the MADE Hoops Circuit. The junior is a high level athlete and aggressive slashing wing who excels at getting downhill and finishing above the rim. He is also an efficient midrange scorer and continues to extend the range on his perimeter jumper. Hayes has significant potential on the defensive end, where his athleticism and physical tools give him the ability to develop into a high level, versatile defender at the next level.

Hayes was punishing the rim all summer while running with the KT Kings. He excels in transition, whether on or off the ball, sprinting to the rim and beating defenders for easy dunks. He is relentless in the half court as well, using his handle to get into the lane and finish through traffic. His off the dribble shooting also looked fantastic, as he showed the ability to step back for threes or stop on a dime for midrange pull ups. Hayes is headed to Calvary Christian Academy and looks to be a big pickup for one of the state’s best teams.
