Jones was constantly in motion and doing whatever he could Sunday to help his team stay within striking distance of its opponent. His activity helped him to score 17 points in the Swing Fall League. He made a three-point jumper, got to the basket to finish four times, and also drew four fouls. He made all eight of his foul shots and used his energy well on defense and in attempting to snare rebounds and get deflections in the backcourt. Jones is coming off a strong junior season where he averaged 20.3 points and 5.8 rebounds for coach Jerod Boyd at Madison Country Day.
