The offensive and defensive rebounding is there for Smith Jr., as is the three point shooting and scoring in the paint. Smith Jr. towered over the competition, flashing eyebrow-raising athleticism and offensive decision-making. Great passing to teammates slashing to the hoop. My favorite moment of Smith Jr.’s was watching him get baited by an opposing player but proving he could rise to the challenge by hitting a huge three with his opponent flying in his face. Definitely a two-way prospect to watch.

Smith is the son of the best high school coach in state history. He is a stud prospect in his own respect and one of the best early in the process. The 6’2” two guard has an advanced feel for the game at such a young age. The wiry wing wins putting it on the deck at will where he has excellent body control drawing fouls and converting at the same time. The rock has energy when it is in his hands as he shows burst with the ball getting to the cup in transition. Sound shooter both pulling up and off the catch from three that should continue to get even better in this area long term. Passing instincts are there hitting open shooters or finding his big man on the fly out of the dunker spot. Quality perimeter defender that consistently made an impact on that end throughout the spring and summer.
