RJ submitted highlights from his Junior Year at South Pointe where he was productive on the court and off with a 3.7 GPA. I was really impressed with the balance shown in his film: playing on and off the ball, showing deep range, great vision, and even an inverted screen action. There wasn’t much evidence of Pickering finishing around the rim, as most of his scoring came from the perimeter and the mid-range. He also seems to be a smart defender, as there were multiple plays where he cut off a ball-handler and drew a charge as the primary defender.
