Michael Roth | Prep Hoops Scout
The second northwest Ohio prospect to be featured in this article and not the only Clay product to shine at the Prep Hoops Expo, things are definitely looking up for that program heading into the 2025-26 season with a deep 2027 class. Buffaloe showed good hustle fighting for loose balls and scored off a curl cut. Overall, Buffaloe was opportunistic in taking advantage of the chances he got to score the basketball and found himself in the right place at the right time.

One of two out-of-state prospects to attend “The Expo,” Buffaloe shined as a playmaker for Team 6. His quickness with the ball in his hands and ability to change directions fluidly allowed him to beat his man off of the bounce and get into the paint where he attracted the attention of multiple defenders. The Clay High School junior was effective as a passer making clean, crisp passes to teammates as defenders collapsed on his drives. HIs length and athleticism allowed him to be effective on both ends of the floor in the backcourt.

Another out-of-state prospect coming to “The Expo” here in Indiana, Buffaloe is a 6’1″ guard from Clay High School. He is a proven combo guard with skills both on and off of the ball. Obviously he isn’t a guy that we normally cover, but we look forward to evaluating him further on September 20th and are very happy that it worked out for him to attend our event.
