Evansville Memorial 2030 Guard Quentin Glisson Quentin Glisson 5'10" IN came into the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase coming off a strong summer and had great performances in front of me. He’s a natural scoring guard that shoots the cover off the ball. Does a good job with creating seperation and is able to get into his shot quickly off the bounce. Strong handle with some wiggle to him that helps him get to spots on the floor. Elevates well in the midrange and can finish in crafty ways around the basket. Really competed on the defensive end. Hard nosed defender that can put pressure on the ball, but is still a place in need of improvement for him. Has the chance to get serious time this year for the Tigers and has the offensive game to give them a spark.

Quentin was the most skilled point guard on team nine. He’s an excellent ball handler who had a habit of making plays. When he found himself in isolated match-ups, Quentin easily attacked his defender and scored. If there were opportunities to knock down open threes, Quentin did not hesitate. He also showed his skills as a play-maker. The majority of his passes led to easy scores. Some were teammates cutting to the rim, while others went out on the perimeter. Quentin maintained control of the offense whenever he was on the court. He showed great vocal leadership by staying in tune with team nine players. Defensively, he gave maximum effort by staying in front of the opposition. He excelled at generating steals by jumping the passing lanes. Quentin is an awesome point guard with a bright future in basketball.

A consistently productive guard over the course of the summer, Glisson is yet another Evansville area prospect to watch as he enters his freshman season. The 5’10” guard will attend Evansville Memorial. He is a very good three-point shooter, but also has shown the ability to attack the paint off of the bounce. We are excited to get a more thorough evaluation of Glisson at our upcoming Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. He is going to be a very good player.

Not many 2030 guards that have produced in the games I’ve gotten to see quite like Quentin Glisson Quentin Glisson 5'10" IN has. Does an excellent job just impacting the games in a variety of different ways. Hard nosed defender that pressures full court and has active hands getting deflections. Offensively he’s a combo guard comfortable playing on or off the ball. His calling card is his shooting ability. On balance shooter that’s really good off the catch. Continues to improve his middle game off the dribble. Has a knack for getting in the lane and creating shots for others. Came off the bench in the games I saw this June, but wouldn’t be surprised to see him crack the starting rotation once the season starts.

One of two 2030 prospects to get run with the Evansville Memorial Tigers on Thursday. Quentin Glisson Quentin Glisson 5'10" IN showed that he was ready for varsity basketball. Extremely quick guard that I thought played within himself. His play didn’t come without some mistakes, but he stayed aggressive and had a strong game impacting without having to score. He’s a talented offensive player that even though he didn’t hit one yesterday, he can really get going from three. Loved his patience on the offensive end and taking what the defense game him.

Quentin is one of the best scoring guards that I’ve laid eyes on this travel ball season. His confidence is through the roof, and he backs it with an ability to make shots and run the offense at a high level. He’s an elite shooter from distance who can get hot quick. Keeping the ball on a string to evade defensive pressure and penetrate the lane also comes easy. He combines his advanced playmaking and scoring abilities with pure hustle that makes him a serious problem for competitors.
