Another prospect that we were able to see some over the summer, Swanson played up at the 15u level with Hoop Club on the E32 New Balance Circuit and was a big part of their consistent success. Swanson has great positional size on the perimeter that he pairs with guard-like skill as a ball-hander and passer. He should make an instant impact at Evansville Memorial. We are excited to have him signed up for the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase.

In an absolutely loaded class of 2030 prospects in Southwest Indiana, Jett Swanson Jett Swanson 6'3" | SF Evansville Memorial | 2030 IN has been one that has adjusted to the varsity game the best from what I’ve seen. Long and lanky wing that will have to add weight and muscle, but in the few games I got to see him in June, he held his own in some big time matchups on both ends of the floor. He’s a high IQ player with a knack for scoring the ball. He has really good instincts on the offensive side knowing when to cut and putting himself in position to score. Sky is the limit for the young Evansville Memorial prospect.

It was a week ago that I got to see the talented 2030 Wing out of Evansville Memorial for the first time and he was even more impressive today at the University of Evansville Team Camp. Showed his ability to shoot from the outside knocking down multiple 3’s with confidence. The most intriguing part of his game was his playmaking ability for others. Impressive court vision and feel for a young prospect. Lets the game come to him and doesn’t force the issue. Will be an impact player for the Tigers as a freshman.

Skilled wing in the class of 2030 that plays with a mature game. Was featured in the players to watch article and mentioned that he will need time to adjust to the speed and physicality of the varsity game. Really impressed me with the way he handled pressure. He didn’t get sped up too many times and was really good making plays off the dribble. Comfortable shooting from deep even though he didn’t make one. Didn’t force the issue and was able to guard his position.

One of the more high potential players in the area is 2030 Wing Jett Swanson Jett Swanson 6'3" | SF Evansville Memorial | 2030 IN of Evansville Memorial. True scoring wing with good offensive skill. Capable of playing inside and out. Will obviously need time to adjust to varsity speed and physicality, but I expect Jett to be a major player for the Tigers in the coming years.
