is next in line to carry the torch in Winnfield with all of the tools to be the next special guard. Seeing him in Baton Rouge back in August, the potential was clear. He is a tough player with a solid handle and a knack for getting to the rim. His strong frame will help him bully players his size, and I expect a big summer for the North Louisiana hooper.

Wilson is an early favorite in the prephoops rankings due to his feel for the game. If you have watched him play then you understand. Winnfield is known for their special guards and he is next in line. To see a player of his size move the way that he does and do the things he does with the ball is refreshing, especially in a young player. Hard to explain, but easy to recognize. The kid can play.

Wilson is a unique guard with football-player size and guard-level skill. He used his big frame to overpower smaller defenders while showing soft touch around the rim. His handle is impressive for his size, and he thrives attacking downhill, either finishing or creating for others. Defensively, Wilson is cerebral, studying opponents and forcing them into uncomfortable spots. He’s tough, competitive, and efficient, rarely wasting energy. With his combination of size, IQ, and skill, Wilson projects to be one of the next box office guards coming out of Winnfield.
