If Peyton keeps shooting like he did on Sunday, he’s going to find himself in the conversation for best shooter in the 2024 class. He was that good. On a very high volume of attempts, he was shooting at an impressive percentage to lead Germantown to a pair of wins over tough Whitnall and West Allis Central teams. He was running off screens at full speed and stopping on a dime to get his feet set to catch and shoot. That technique to square up and elevate for his shot in one smooth motion allowed him to consistently beat the chasing defender. In a close game against Whitnall, you could tell he wanted the ball in his hands because he knew he could make a play. Sealed the deal by grabbing the rebound on his own missed free throw and going back up for two points.

is the third leading scorer for a balanced Germantown team, and as the #12 seed they’ll be taking on #5 seeded Kimberly. His shooting numbers are down this season, but make no mistake, Peyton is a player who can catch fire and light a team up once he gets into a rhythm. He showed that with a 25 point outburst against Kenosha ITA this season, as well as multiple games with 4 3P makes. This team is battle tested playing the the Greater Metro Conference, and if Peyton’s shot is falling they’ll be a tough out.

out of Germantown. Now as a junior he looks ready to take over as the lead scoring option, and he excelled against Kenosha ITA as he finished the game with 25 points. It didn’t matter who was guarding him, he just kept finding space beyond the arc resulting in 7-13 shooting from range. Smart player who isn’t going to turn the ball over much and always seems to be in the right place at the right time.
