Byrd is such an interesting prospect that catches you eye almost instantly with his length and versatility. Long and lanky 6’7 wing that can score are nearly every level and is tough player to guard. With the additions of Ephraim in the front court, it has allowed Byrd to stretch the floor while also continuing to make plays out of the high post. Just a mismatch nightmare at times.

In terms of length, athleticism, and mobility this 6’6″ forward out of Center Grove has some really intriguing tools. Byrd has put together a good spring for Indiana Ice 2024 on the Adidas Gold circuit showing some real upside. He can use his size to finish around the basket while possessing some improving skill that lets him operate out on the perimeter. His stock could really take off in the coming months.
