Jones is averaging 10.4 PPG, 3.2 RPG and 2.0 APG in the Combine Academy/BlueChecks backcourt this season. He’s an underrated athletic guard who’s shown he can operate in a variety of ways on both ends of the floor. He’s been quite the addition on the OTE stage and coming off a 17-point game in a victory over YNG Dreamerz in overtime this past Monday. He holds offers from Eastern Michigan and Hofstra since decommitting this past fall.

He had a huge performance against Gray Collegiate (SC) on Saturday Afternoon to help the Goats stay over .500 for the tournament. He hit 3 2nd half 3s including a quick-release right corner shot as he was fouled to put Combine Academy up 4 early in the 4th quarter. Jones is naturally right-handed but shoots left-handed which allows him to have an overall balanced offensive game. He shot 41% from 3 for the tournament providing much-needed spacing for the rest of Combine’s offense.

Jones climbed up the PH radar in a hurry this past offseason after joining Combine Academy and quickly turned his recruitment into a commitment to the Hofstra Pride in the Colonial Conference. He joins Amir Williams as the second commitment in their 2024 recruiting class. Jones is a two-way backcourt presence who can score it in a hurry and a blur on the defensive end given his athleticism and motor. He’ll be quite the force as he joins the likes of Rakease Passmore Rakease Passmore 6'6" | SF Combine Academy | 2024 State #50 Nation NC and others in the Goats rotation as they join OTE on the national scene.

Paul Jones Paul Jones 6'4" | CG Combine Academy | 2024 State NC is the latest newcomer into the state of North Carolina as he looks to join the ranks at Combine Academy as they join Overtime Elite League for the upcoming season. He’s an explosive guard that can finish around the rim just as well as he can knock down shots off the bounce and on the perimeter. Ohio, Radford and a few other MM programs have already offered him.

He’s a strong two-way presence that can attack the rim and knock down shots at volume while defending at a high level using his athleticism and wiry length. He’ll be a new face to keep track of in the 2024 class in North Carolina over at Combine Academy in 2023-24.
