Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
High scoring ability, great playmaking skills. Versatile player who can make an impact on the game in multiple ways. Strong ability to score from both inside and outside the three-point line, and court vision allows to set up teammates for easy baskets. Game style is characterized by aggressive playing style, ability to score from anywhere, and great passing ability.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
Determined and fiery are two words that come to mind. Very competitive nature, which is a driving force on the court, whether in games, training or practice. Always striving to excel and push to the limits to get better. Off court, light-hearted personality, like to joke around with teammates and have fun.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I was a competitive swimmer before playing basketball; I also do Track & Field. I am a straight As and honor roll student. During my 8th grade, I was invited to participate in four different Top 20 All-Star events in Illinois.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I believe in developing both physical and mental skills to be great. As far as physical skills I am working hard in all aspects, but particularly in ball handling, shooting, passing and defense. As far as mental skills, I am naturally very competitive and resilient and I understand that I need to work very hard to reach my goals, which makes me accountable and helps in developing confidence.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
In February of 2024, I got seriously injured (hyperextended knee); I had to miss the rest of the playoffs and the beginning of AAU season. I had to work very hard during physical therapy to bring back my knee to 100% health, which I did; in the process, I learned how to better protect myself by doing strength and conditioning training, and eating healthy. Today, I am much stronger than I was then.
What type of college are you looking for?
I believe in the saying "go where you are wanted." For now, as an incoming freshman, my focus will be on continuing to develop and prepare for high school, so I am ready to represent well Lincoln Park High School, a very competitive basketball program in Illinois.
