High basketball IQ, consistent effort and energy, aggressive defense, with excellent elevation and targeted passing. Known for powerful moves to the rim for layups and dunks but equally good from midrange and 3 point line. 2024-25 stats: 22 pts/game 12 reb/game 6 asst/game 3 blk/game 3 stl/game

Team captain in basketball and soccer

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Playing for a smaller and lower profile neighborhood public school, I face the full force of the opponent's defense yet am still able to average 22-24 points per game and to be named All-City League for three years in a row. I sustained a shoulder dislocation and ankle sprain this season but missed little time.

One of the most athletic players in the Columbus city league, Knostman has been putting up big time numbers for a few years now. Also a soccer standout, Knostman won MVP honors during the city league championship. Knostman has had a fast start to his senior season, scoring 20 points against Olentangy Orange and 22 against Columbus DeSales. The lefty can play above the rim and finish with either hand on layups. A forward who is always in attack mode, Knostman likes to put his shoulder down and get to the paint. With his high academic scores he could get himself some nice scholarship packages from small college programs giving him academic and/or athletic support.
