Matched up with an undersized GA frontcourt, Adamson kept it simple while sticking to his strength and imposing his will as a two-way paint presence. Adamson nearly racked up a double-double with 10 points, punctuated by a pair of fourth quarter dunks that slammed the door on any Patriot comeback hopes. He was an intimidating force as a rim protector and consistently created extra possessions with his nonstop energy on the glass. There were also a couple intriguing instances where he was caught on the perimeter and held up well to keep the ball in front. While he has clear limitations from a skill standpoint offensively, Adamson could add value at the D1 level for programs who value motor and athleticism at the ‘5’.

There’s always value in bigs who know how to play to their strengths, and Adamson routinely impresses with his ability to do just that. A physically-imposing, high-motor two-way presence in the paint, Adamson wasn’t quite his best on Tuesday but still managed to work his way to 8 points and a half-dozen rebounds while showcasing explosive above-the-rim athleticism on a handful of finishes inside. One of the better rebounders in the region, Adamson has some limitations to be sure but checks a lot of boxes that often translate to success at the D1 level up front.

Adamson was effective in the game I saw of him when he played against Gilman (MD). He was efficient with his offensive output and converted on easy chances. I really like how he found teammates for scoring chances. He knows what he is good at and doesn’t overstep his boundaries as a player. Adamson has great energy on the glass. He is a prospect who would be a good fit at the low major, division two, or the junior college level.

This agile power forward with an enormous wingspan dominated the interior at both ends of the floor. On offense, Adamson scored in the paint in every way imaginable. His ability to elevate in traffic and then power home a dunk through contact was impressive. He finished at the rim on drop passes as well as on baseline cuts and out of pick-n-roll action. When he was not dunking on opponent’s heads, Adamson used his soft touch for several nice finishes. Adamson showed excellent speed on his rim runs and thus was able to contribute on the secondary break too. On defense, Adamson was a fierce shot blocker who pinned a shot or two and swatted several field goal attempts out of bounds. He also grabbed a truckload of defensive rebounds. Adamson holds an offer from Bryant University and more should be headed his way after the upcoming live period.

On offense he does the bulk on his damage in close by catching drop passes and then finishing with authority or by working the offensive glass for points. With his size and power, Adamson is capable of muscling through significant contact and then converting. Adamson’s interior bag includes smooth up and under move as well as the ability to hit revere lay-ins. Adamson also owns enough end-to-end speed to contribute on the secondary break. Adamson is an efficient interior scorer who can produce points on dives to the cup, post ups and via shirt, face up jumpers. He is also extremely comfortable operating in the dunker spot. However, the stat column where Adamson can best help the 76ers is in the rebounding category. Adamson’s size, wingspan, physicality, tenacity, and quick second jump enable him to dominate the glass at both ends. He frequently posts double digit rebounding games. He is also an intimidating rim protector and could help boost the 76ers interior defense. Adamson currently holds an offer from Bryant.  

Over the summer this long, athletic, and powerful combo-forward picked up an offer from Bryant. If you watch Adamson play, it is easy to see why DI coaches are after him. Adamson is an efficient scorer in close who can finish with authority or a creative touch. His positioning skills, smooth footwork, and ability to finish over either shoulder make Adamson a solid low post scorer. He can also knock down face up jumpers. With his size and wingspan, Adamson is rebounds at a high level and is an intimidating rim protector.
